Born from a church's outreach ministry. Built to serve the whole community.
Bright Hope Community Outreach mentors young people, feeds families, and supports neighbors in Jacksonville, and has done so for more than three years.
From ministry to independent nonprofit
For more than three years, the outreach ministry of Uplift Church of Jacksonville has mentored young people, distributed food every week, and supported families in our neighborhood.
In November 2025, that work became its own organization: Bright Hope Community Outreach, Inc., an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The separation lets us partner more widely, account for every dollar on its own, and grow these programs to reach more families.
Today we're led by a volunteer board and powered by neighbors who show up every week, because every young person and every family deserves a reason to hope.
To build a brighter future by empowering youth, strengthening families, and transforming communities through faith-based outreach, education, and support for those in crisis.
- Compassion: we meet people where they are.
- Restoration: every person and family can start again.
- Empowerment: we build skills and confidence that last.
- Integrity: we report honestly and use every gift with care.
- Open doors: our services are open to everyone, whatever their beliefs.
